Mr. Zepponi has 35 years of experience working in all phases of the architecture profession, providing key support to Multi-disciplinary projects. Coordinates with Partners, Clients, Stakeholders on the implementation of technical aspects of the construction documents to translate the design vision into constructability.

Mr. Zepponi also is integral to the Business management, marketing, contract negotiations, proposals, employee management, project and workflow scheduling, business forecasting, development of firm procedures and standards.​

Mr. Zepponi is also fluent in Italian, and has played a key part of the growing sport of 'pickle ball' in the San Francisco Bay area.

Responsibilities
 

  • Site analysis, design, CAD production, construction administration, code analysis, bidding and contractor negotiations, project closeout, consultant management, review shop drawings, samples and submittals, value engineering, master planning and project phasing, design/build fast-track project coordination, construction document quality control, project cost analysis, punch lists and conformance to plans and specifications, ADA upgrades and analysis.

  • Manage external consultants, schedules and budgets

  • Keep abreast of regulations in market to ensure design and zoning compliance

  • Manage multiple projects at the same time in different phases of design

  • Collaborate with Principal to ensure architectural vision translates into design client’s criteria

  • Work closely with Construction to understand cost and schedule impacts resulting from design or design team or client changes

  • Construction product research and integration

  • Analyze and graphically summarize data in support of planning and programming studies

 

Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of relevant building codes

  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with internal teams and external partners

  • Excellent project management and time management skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, vendors from design through opening

  • Proficiency in 2D/3D software, such as AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp

  • Retail Centers, Academic Facilities, Tenant Improvements, Residential: custom + multifamily

  • Coordinate major phasing development projects
