Seaside Promenade

The project embraces the existing urban fabric as it approaches the Pacific Ocean. The view corridors terminate in a pocket park and a beach promenade. The project is broken up into three major components with a common open space in between them which opens up to the Pacific Ocean.

Each component is arranged at different offsetting angles, as they rise in height they separate into two halves to allow the sun and the natural ocean breezes to drench the circulation cores. Collage of forms and uses creates an informal layout, which is conductive to the beach lifestyle of casualness.
