Responsibilities
 

  • Evolve schematic design into permit drawings with consulting teams

  • Manage external consultants, schedules and budgets

  • Keep abreast of regulations in market to ensure design and zoning compliance

  • Manage multiple projects at the same time in different phases of design

  • Collaborate with Principal to ensure architectural vision translates into design client’s criteria

  • Work closely with Construction to understand cost and schedule impacts resulting from design or design team or client changes

  • Construction product research and integration

  • Analyze and graphically summarize data in support of planning and programming studies

 

Experience and Skills
 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

  • 5 + years of experience in new Retail, Tenant Improvement multi format concept design and development

  • Knowledge of relevant building codes

  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with internal teams and external partners

  • Excellent project management and time management skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, vendors from design through opening

  • Proficiency in 2D/3D software, such as AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp

  • Retail Centers, Academic Facilities, Tenant Improvements, Residential: custom + multifamily

  • Prepare Revit plans, building sections, elevations, details, wall sections, and design drawings within all architectural phases
